Al Franken, the junior senator from Minnesota, shows off his prodigious sketching abilities yesterday at the senate confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan. Senator Franken’s portrait is of Senator Jeff Sessions. I suppose he had to stay alert doing something, given Sessions’ constant droning about nothing in particular.
