Glenn Beck For President In 2012

July 14th, 2010 · 2 Comments · 2012 Presidential Election, Comedy, Political Fringe, america

Save America!  Elect Glenn Beck president of the United States.  In one of the creepiest spots I’ve ever seen, a group called Main Street Bites Back is organizing a petition to get irritating, alcoholic, crybaby curmudgeon Glenn Beck to run.  The front woman for the group Robin Potwora, showcases her terrifying skills before the camera [...]

The Tea Party Convention Part II: Birthers, Homophobia, And Black Sharpies

February 9th, 2010 · 2 Comments · 2012 Presidential Election, Elections, News, Politics, Racism, Republicans, america

The National Tea Party Convention concluded this past weekend, and  If you’ve already read part one, then you know that the tone of the convention was set very early on.  Racial paranoia wafted heavily in the air over the weekend, dampening the intended message of anti-tax, and anti-government intervention the movement was trying to focus [...]

Sarah Palin Forgets Her Words Sometimes

February 7th, 2010 · No Comments · 2012 Presidential Election, News, Political Fringe, Politics, Republicans, america

You know, this would be comical if it weren’t so frightening. Courtesy of Stefan Sirucek and The Huffington Post: Here’s another shot. There are so many ways I can go here.  I’m going to go with irony.  In her speech last night to the Tea Partiers, Palin blasted President Obama for his usage of teleprompters.  [...]

Rush Limbaugh Believes Sarah Palin Is Ready To Be President

November 3rd, 2009 · No Comments · 2012 Presidential Election, Democracy, Elections, Political Fringe, Politics, Republicans, america

Watch it: Whether you believe someone has a “spark” or a “fire,” is irrelevant to this discussion. Attaining the presidency (and succeeding once you’re there), takes an exceptional individual both in mind and persona. Sarah Palin fails on both counts in my eyes. If you want a spark, get a prescription for Cialis and buy [...]

President Bachmann? Only on planet hell

August 17th, 2009 · No Comments · 2012 Presidential Election, Comedy, Politics, Republicans

Well, this is heart-warming.  Michelle Bachmann is considering running for president of the United States, but she would only do it if God told her to. Here’s Bachmann speaking to the conservative site WorldNetDaily: “If I felt that’s what the Lord was calling me to do, I would do it,” she answered. “When I have [...]

Monday weekend round-up

August 10th, 2009 · No Comments · 2012 Presidential Election, Democracy, Democrats, Health Care, News, Political Fringe, Politics, Republicans, War on Terror

WELCOME MADAME JUSTICE! Pray for Eunice Kennedy Shriver… Lying must come naturally to John Boehner… Protest against the health care reform bill on its merits, not on misinformation and egregious lies perpetrated by fringe groups… Health care gone wild! Nightmare in the Hudson River… This is potential good news that no one is talking about… [...]

Tuesday morning one-liners

July 21st, 2009 · No Comments · 2012 Presidential Election, News, Politics

The 2012 Presidential election (isn’t it July 2009?) is a tie.  Obama 45%, Romney 45%. Can we rescue Pfc. Bergdahl from the Taliban in Afghanistan?  The pursuit will be difficult  since he’s now been moved to Pakistan. When it comes to cap and trade, Sarah Palin is a flip-flopper. One of the nation’s largest small [...]

BREAKING: Palin resigns post as governor

July 3rd, 2009 · No Comments · 2012 Presidential Election, News, Politics

Politico breaks the big news.  Why would she completely resign her position?  If she wants to run for president, she could have held on for the rest of her term and still been a viable candidate.  This seems awfully odd to me.  What do you think?
