Unemployment Is Steady, Jobs Still Scarce

According to this cool, albeit mind-bending graph, the unemployment rate held at 9.7%, and the economy shed 36,000 jobs during the month of February.  While the news is slightly reassuring–this is the fewest jobs shed by the economy during the recession– hiring is still moving very slowly.
