It is not unprecedented for American Presidents to bow in respect to foreign leaders. Conservative blogs and pundits are getting their grandma panties in a bunch over the President practically keeling over at the feet of Japan’s emperor. While I’ll admit the bow was a little too “bowy”–I thought he was going to tie his shoes at one point– it is not the end of the world calamity these nuts are turning it into. I wonder if they thought it was weak when “Tricky Dick” did it? Take a look:
