The health care bill with a public option has been shown to save Americans money and reduce insurance company profits. Which is your constituency?You know, it may be that neither one starts thinking about us rather than their own commitment to businesses and getting re-elected. But by gosh, I want them to count up all the letters we send them, and realize that maybe, just maybe, lobbyists won’t be voting next November but we will be. Btw, I am now reading that Johnny is considered vulnerable. Only a few months ago, he was considered very safe.
Ah, the regular GOP talking points. Cutting medicare, raising middle-class taxes, and inflating the deficit. Forgive my disdainful tone, but Saxby’s appearance was rife with hypocrisy. He continues to reap high rewards from the very industry health care reform is meant to rein in. Senator Chambliss, please pretend for one moment that you have your constituents’ best interests at heart. Not your own political coffers. Your job is not to misinform the voters. It’s to be thier voice in Washington. Not just your conservative base’s voice, but all Georgia voters. Do not shirk from this responsibility, for falls in election years can be cruel mistresses.
