I stay away for a long weekend, and House Democrats sack up and pass a health care reform bill without my knowledge? Duplicitous bastards! Speaker Pelosi managed to rein in the malcontents long enough to corral 220 votes. One of those votes was a Republican. GASP! Congressman Anh Joseph Cao (R-LA) rose out of the Stygian pit that is the republican party, to cast that lonely vote. Bravo for him! Just imagine the hell he’s gonna catch when conservatives actually figure out who he is. That will be worth watching. Congrats Madame Speaker.
