Whomever becomes the governor or agriculture commissioner of the state of Alabama just may have to out-weird the opposition. After the Carly Fiorina demon sheep craze confused and nauseated most politicos in California, Alabama has now become ground zero for creepy, polemical television spots. The latest comes from Dale Peterson, a republican running for Agriculture Commissioner. See if you can find the allusions to The Patriot. Mel Gibson would be proud.
Here’s Tim James, running for Governor. He is adamant about English. Speaking English.
Finally, an ad mocking a candidate’s belief (or non-belief) in evolution. I didn’t really know evolution was that important in Alabama. I guess it trumps job creation and health care.
